Sign-in is optional for this device. Sync stores encrypted text, not your passphrase. No separate email login is set up.
Backup, privacy & shared devices
Choose a long, unique passphrase and keep it somewhere safe. We cannot reset it or recover your saved words. Your browser encrypts text before storage or sync. Account identifiers, encrypted file size and update times can be held for syncing; the saved words are not available in site admin.
This protects stored records. While unlocked, your words are visible on this screen. Use a trusted device and lock before sharing it. The space locks after 10 minutes without activity. Voice recordings are not saved in the private space; download them separately if you want to keep them.
Nothing is saved automatically. Use “Save my reflection & progress” before leaving. A downloaded encrypted backup helps protect against lost devices or cleared browser storage.
Enter the backup’s passphrase above before importing. Import replaces this browser’s saved private space after it has been unlocked successfully.
YOUR WORDS. YOUR PACE.
Start wherever you are.
No perfect words needed. Write or record what’s on your mind, then use a prompt to explore what would help.
This is a guided reflection tool, not AI conversation or a live listener. Nothing here is monitored. For a person who can listen and respond, use Call or Text 1737.
Your privacy, in plain language
Reflection text stays in this tab unless you explicitly save it in your private encrypted space. Signed-in sync sends only an encrypted copy. Coaches cannot read your saved words through site admin. Voice notes stay in tab memory and are not included in saved reflections. Locking clears this screen; saved copies remain encrypted. Older device check-ins stay separate unless you choose to include them in a private save.
Prefer to say it out loud?
Make a private voice note, up to 10 minutes at a time. You can listen back or download it. The tool does not transcribe or understand recordings.
You can stop or skip at any time. Choose what feels comfortable.

Sound is off.
Soft, water-inspired soundscapes made on your device. No audio downloads or recording.
Make this comfortable for you
You can change the hold during your session. Changing it starts a fresh breath.
Inhale 4 seconds · exhale 6. No hold. These timings are an optional guide, not a target to push for.
Te reo Māori cues are shown on screen. Spoken cues depend on your browser’s available voice. No microphone or recording is used.
Keep your eyes open if you prefer. Breathe naturally if the pace does not suit you. Stop if you feel dizzy, breathless or uncomfortable. The hold is optional. If you have a breathing or heart condition, ask your health professional what suits you.
About this guide

General information only. Completed-session counts are included only if you choose to save your private space.
02 / NOTICE WHAT’S AROUND YOU
Come back to here.
Notice one thing at a time. Skip any sense or prompt that doesn’t work for you.
Name five things you can see.
Step 1 of 5
Your notes stay in this tab unless you choose to save them in your private encrypted space. Start again clears the current exercise; earlier private saves are separate.
You choose who to send it to. Nothing is sent by this website.
Need urgent help?
If someone is in immediate danger, call 111 in New Zealand or go to the nearest emergency department. If you can, stay with a safe person while arranging help. This website is not monitored and cannot contact emergency services for you.
Outside New Zealand, use your local emergency number and support services.
Worried about a teammate?
Choose a private moment, describe what you’ve noticed and ask how they’re going. Listen without rushing to solve things. Ask what support they want and help them connect with a trusted adult or professional. If safety is at risk, get help; don’t promise to keep that secret.
Young players: a trusted adult, whānau member, school counsellor or club safeguarding lead can help you find support. If one person doesn’t listen, try another safe person.
