Starting again with £2, 6 shillings and 10 pence

Hamilton Marist was established in 1922 from the earlier St Mary’s club, carrying forward £2, 6 shillings and 10 pence. Brother Calixtus coached the first senior team. The club’s history records those modest beginnings alongside the people who set its next chapter in motion.

Back-to-back premier champions

Hamilton Marist won the Waikato Breweries Shield in 2024 and 2025. Earlier premier titles include three consecutive victories in 2013, 2014 and 2015.

Strength through the colts

The club also won four consecutive Elliot Shield colts titles from 2021 to 2024. Its development pathway has a championship history of its own.
