A town. A jersey. Generations of belonging.
North of Whangārei, a long rugby tradition lives alongside the people who keep turning up.

Rooted in its town
Founded in 1894, Hikurangi grew alongside a Northland town shaped by timber and coal mining. Its home at Hikurangi Sports Park on Park Street remains a meeting place for players, whānau and supporters.
A proud championship tradition
Hikurangi’s honours record includes 34 senior championships and 31 runner-up finishes—a legacy built across generations of club rugby.
One club, many contributions
The club welcomes players, coaches, managers and volunteers. Development, opportunity and belonging sit at the centre of its purpose, connecting those who played before with those learning the game today.
