Black and white. A story still being written.

One of Whangārei’s long-established rugby communities, with connections across junior and senior club life.

Black and white since 1887

Founded in 1887, Kamo has a long place in Whangārei and Northland rugby. Its black-and-white identity connects generations of players and supporters.

A century kept in print

In 1987, Kamo marked its centenary with The Black and White Story. That published history preserves the club’s first hundred years, giving later generations a record to return to alongside the memories held by players and whānau.

A club that stays connected

Kamo Rugby and Squash Club brings senior, junior and intermediate rugby into the same community. Newsletters, club updates and the people who share them keep members connected through the season.
